The screenplay of the series was written by journalist Josef Klíma. “When the case of Jana Nagyová and Petr Nečas took place a few years ago, I was fascinated by the motive of how to get into high politics through relationship issues, because until now politicians have come to power mostly through behind the scenes. But this case has shown another possibility. I started procuring materials from around the main actress, but at the same time I moved the story elsewhere. I didn’t want to follow the career of one particular person, the main heroine contains the story of women who managed to reach its top from the lowest level of the social ladder thanks to relationships, “Klíma described.

This series is about the rise of fictional country waitress Anna Malá and Minister Tomáš Vichr. The main roles are played by Eva Josefíková and Jiří Vyorálek.
