The 10th anniversary of the declaration of Őrbottyán as a city and the Day of the Bells were celebrated over the weekend, the event was attended by Csaba Latorcai, the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Territorial Development. The local government of the town celebrating his birthday awarded Kossuth Prize-winning rock singer Nagy Feró with the title of honorary citizen.
Csaba Latorcai said in a post published on his Facebook page: “being a city is both pride and responsibility. Responsibility for the kind of city they leave for posterity. And the past ten years have shown how the future can be built today! And pride because, thanks to government subsidies and local developments, in recent years, many investments and renovations have been realized in the settlement,” 0627.hu viewed the politician’s post.
The 10th anniversary of the declaration of Őrbottyán as a city and the Day of the Bells were celebrated over the weekend, during which the Kossuth Award-winning singer Feró Nagy was chosen as an honorary citizen of the city. Mayor István Szabó presented the award to the rock singer.
