By court decision, Daniel Dimitrov-Releto, known as a member of the “Naglite” kidnapping group, is released from custody on bail of BGN 3,000, BTA reported. Dancho Reletto was arrested in the police operation against car thefts early Friday morning.
No fingerprint examinations were presented to the court, as they had not yet been prepared.
Together with Releto, Petar Berberov was detained. However, he remains permanently in custody, the court decided after finding more evidence of the crime he is accused of.
Dimitrov and Berberov are accused of hiding two stolen cars, one of which was declared wanted, in a parking garage in the Nadezhda district.
Daniel Dimitrov, as part of the Naglite kidnapping group, was sentenced to 18 years in prison. In 2022, he was released early.
