Munich – Coach Julian Nagelsmann does not want to dramatize the situation at Bayern Munich after two competitive games that have not been won in a row.

At the same time he expects a positive reaction from his team and a return to the road to success on Sunday (3.30 p.m.) in the Bundesliga against bottom Greuther Fürth.

“The mood is appropriate for the fact that we didn’t win twice,” said Nagelsmann on Friday about the aftermath of the 1: 4 in the league game at VfL Bochum and the 1: 1 in the Champions League at RB Salzburg. You have to “radiate Bayern Munich”, demanded the 34-year-old with a view to the expected success of the league leaders against Fürth, who had improved significantly in the second half of the season.

“It is important that you do not skin everything in the pan,” stressed Nagelsmann. He reminded that before Bochum everything was fine with the record champions. But it is also clear: “In the end it’s about delivering in the next games.”

After the Salzburg game, there are question marks about the fitness of wingers Serge Gnabry (muscular problems) and Kingsley Coman. Salzburg’s last-minute goalscorer received a blow to the calf there. His involvement is “still a bit questionable”. Jamal Musiala, who was tested free after a corona infection, may be able to return to the squad. National goalkeepers Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka and Alphonso Davies are still out.
