According to him, such machine guns are more effective because the drones are constantly changing routes in order to avoid being hit and complete their task.
“Sometimes they fly in circles, come in from one side, fly by, then come back again. That is, they always try to avoid our air defense systems,” Naev said.
He noted that thanks to partners, Ukrainian air defense is constantly growing.
“We understand that we cannot cover every square meter. But we are trying to place mobile fire groups and anti-aircraft defense systems at suitable distances so that we can cover and insure each other,” he wrote.
Naev said that Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners are in constant combat readiness. They are always in cars and only on a signal turn on and go into combat readiness number one. In addition, they can hit hostile targets both day and night.
