The newsletter tells more details about the contract killing ordered by a man in his forties from Espoo, with which he wanted a businessman Toivo “Topi” Sukarin from spirits. Usko Toivo Rakkaus – Toivo Sukar’s story biography (Siltala) reveals a harsh series of events that tormented Sukar and Nadia-wife for a long time.

A good month after the midsummer engagements of 2018, I received a strange phone call from a man who introduced himself as a property manager. The conversations quickly became strange and Sukari and Nadja suspected him of being a disturbed person. After that, the nuisance calls came three times a day, the last one at the beginning of September.

At the beginning of November, a letter with Nadja’s name arrived at the Sukari Group’s address.

Nadja carefully opened the shipment. He had a bad feeling. There was only one A4-sized sheet of paper in the envelope with a picture of Nadja in a fitness competition. A hole had been made in the forehead. Nadja took the picture and the shell to Toivo, who was very scared, almost went into shock. Nadja took a more calm approach to the matter: Someone is just trying to scare. If he really wanted to kill, he would have done it immediately without threats.

The couple thought about running away from the police, but decided to wait.

Later came a text message. In it, they were told to leave Toivo or else the spirit will leave. The next message came from a foreign number, but the text was clearly Finnish and threatened to kill Nadja. Similar messages came in a few weeks. In one of them there was talk of “Afghan boys” who want Nadja dead. Mostly, however, they were pure insults: whore, fuck, shit, cow, etc. In December, a message came in which threatened to kill Toivo’s daughter and told the daughter’s home address. The message also mentioned the names of other children, but only those whose last name is Sukari.

The sugars filed a criminal complaint and the investigation began.

The wedding was scheduled for July 2019, and they decided to take the risk and get married in Finland. That’s where the Sukars get security measures. According to the book, the Turku police announced after a year and a half of investigation that the tracks lead to the United States, and the police’s resources are not sufficient to continue the investigation.

A little over a year later, the ugly truth was revealed. The computer of a man in his forties from Espoo was confiscated during the second investigation, where surprising information was found.

The investigation revealed that a man from Espoo had ordered a contract killing from a website called Internet Killers operating in the dark Tor network, the target of which was Toivo Sukari. The man used the nickname Mysteryman5455 on the site and at the beginning of the messaging he said he needed a contract killer in Finland. Could someone help, the man asked. He also said that his budget is 5,000 euros. The website maintenance replied that they have several killers interested in the gig. The police managed to find out that the man had ordered a hit-and-run murder. And the man’s account statements showed that he had transferred almost 8,000 euros to the bitcoin account. The researchers could not find out the identity of the recipient of the money.

The assassination never happened. The man said that he was jealous of Sukarei. He had made Sukari the target of his anger, because they seemed to be doing well in life, while he himself was doing “quite badly”.

The man admitted the writings and payments during the investigation, but denied the crime. The district court of Länsi-Uusimaa did not believe, but sentenced the man for the preparation of a gross crime against life and health. In the same context, the man was also convicted of an illegal threat, the victim of which was Nadja Sukari.

The District Court of Western Uusimaa sentenced the now 45-year-old man to 2 years in prison.

Although the seriousness of the act and the length of the punishment supported an absolute prison sentence, the district court ordered it as a conditional sentence due to the man’s poor health. The verdict is not legally binding, but can be appealed to the Court of Appeal.
