/ world today news/ Nadezhda Neynski admitted to BNT that she could become ambassador to Ankara. “There have been such talks with me, but at this stage there is nothing concrete. I think that anyone who has good expertise should help the country. There is a procedure, but how it moves, I can’t say”, explained Neinski about the rumors that she was being launched as a diplomat in the neighboring country.
Asked how she viewed the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about Bulgaria and Macedonia, she said that his words were aimed at creating tension between the two countries.
We recall that yesterday Lavrov said: The destabilization of Macedonia was caused from outside. Some see the possibility of its division between Albania and Bulgaria.
The preservation and stability of Macedonia is a main thesis in our foreign policy at the moment. Behind such words, one must see what and who has an interest. The destabilization of the Western Balkans distances them from European and Atlantic perspectives. The creation of peace and security in the Balkans is a prerequisite for their acceptance into the EU. If the Balkans are troubled, it distances them from the EU. Russia’s aggressive policy towards the Balkans will not be so strong if there are no politicians and parties in places to launch it on the ground. In this sense, the Bulgarian interests in this case are for a peaceful and sovereign Macedoniasaid Nadezhda Neynsky.
