The green sleeveless shirt that Rafael Nadal used during his historic victory in Roland Garros 2005his first title at the Parisian tournament, was recently auctioned for a record sum. The garment, considered an icon for collectors, sold for $113,924.

The auction was held by Prestige Memorabilia from July 17 and reached the highest value for a piece of tennis equipment used in matches. It is usually estimated that a piece of equipment can fetch just over 10 thousand dollars.
