The new star of world tennis, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will return to the tennis courts after his injury which kept him away from the circuit for more than a month. After missing the Australian Open, and thereby losing his place as world number 1, the young 19-year-old tennis player is taking advantage of his return to the Buenos Aires ATP to give an interview to a local newspaper. And he admitted that he had one regret in his career: not having realized his dream of facing Roger Federer.
Carlos Alcaraz has already achieved a lot at only 19 years old. Youngest world number 1 in the history of tennis at 19, he also won his first Grand Slam title at l’US Open in 2022. But despite everything, the Spaniard has a huge regret: that of not having been able to play against Roger Federer.
“I played against Rafa and Novak, but…”
Carlos Alcaraz confided in the Argentine newspaper The nation on his career and the players he faced.
