The Padel Championship witnessed strong competitions between participants in the local classification category, which is held within the activities of the 11th edition of the “Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament” during Ramadan at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, with the slogan “Unlimited Abilities,” and continues until the 31st of this month, and includes nine sports games, which are: : Volleyball, padel, jiu-jitsu, fencing, wheelchair basketball, running, bicycle racing, tug of war, and steeplechase.

600 male and female players from inside and outside the country of various classifications and technical levels participate in the padel tournament, competing in five categories: the local classification category, 20 points for men. Citizens, residents, and visitors with a local classification below (the best 30 local players) are allowed to participate in this category. The participation of coaches and players of national teams, the local classification category for male citizens, the local classification category for female citizens, the junior category under 18 years of age, and then the international category are not permitted to participate.

The tournament also includes (Nas Challenge) for padel teams in the local classification category of 100 open points, in which all male and female players, citizens, residents and visitors, are allowed to participate. It includes six teams: the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran and the Netherlands. The International Category Championship (Rise) is also held, in which it is allowed For men and women of all nationalities to participate, by registering on the International Padel Tennis Federation website.

The qualifying rounds and final rounds for all local categories in the Padel Championship will be held in a one-time knockout system, and the best 16 pairs will qualify for the final rounds. The international category competitions will also be held in a one-time knockout system, with the best 32 pairs qualifying for the final rounds, and the qualifying rounds will be held. On the 18th and 19th of this month, while the final rounds will be held during the period from the 20th to the 24th.
