Van der Sande has been playing striker at FC Eindhoven since 2019. This season, the attacker has scored 13 goals and 6 assists. Before that he was a player of FC Den Bosch.
Eric Hellemons is happy with the attacker. “Jort is a striker with quite a few games to his name. With forty goals and twenty-three assists, a player with a good resume. He is a player with character and a great sense of space and position in and around sixteen,” he says. on the club’s website.
Van der Sande himself is also happy with his switch. “I think it will take some getting used to here. You play here for a huge fanatic audience and huge following,” said the striker. “I think this will be a fantastic experience and I am very excited to play here.”
