NAC Breda-spice maker Moonir El Allouchi will soon be free man. The native Roosendaaler is running out of his contract and will leave NAC – nine years after he registered in the youth academy – ‘with a heavy heart’, he has announced through the official channels of the Breda residents.
The attacking midfielder made his official debut in September 2014, was loaned out to Helmond Sport in the meantime and made a total of 169 appearances on behalf of the main force. Last season was his best in numbers, with a total of 13 goals and 16 assists. However, it turned out not to be enough to help NAC get promoted. The lost promotion final against NEC was his last game in yellow and black for the time being.
El Allouchi confirms the news to NAC TV. “I am going to leave NAC, with a lot of pain in my heart of course,” he says. “I thought about it for a long time and I finally came to the conclusion to take the step.”
