With the return of NAC to the Eredivisie, the club is directly qualified for the prestigious KPN eDivisie. In order to present itself strongly in this digital competition, NAC is looking for a talented EA FC25 player who will represent the team next season. In collaboration with mCon esports, the search for the best esports player will be started, who can take the club a step further in the eDivisie.
On Sunday 13 October, NAC, in collaboration with mCon esports and with the support of the municipality of Breda, BrabantSport and Breda University of Applied Sciences, will organize a large EA FC25 tournament. During this event, talented players will have the chance to prove themselves and possibly become NAC’s new eDivisie player.
In addition to the opportunity to represent NAC in the eDivisie, participants have a chance to win great prizes. The top eight will qualify for the final, in which not only the title of eDivisie player is at stake, but also a prize pool of € 2,100 will be divided. For participants who do not make it through the group stage, there is a knockout tournament in which great NAC-related prizes can also be won.
This tournament is part of a broader vision to strengthen esports in Breda. The event will be repeated annually with the ambition to grow into an international tournament. This competition contributes to Breda’s ambition to profile itself as the gaming city of Europe and to put esports permanently on the map.
