WERDER- Near Keïta will be absent from SV Werder Bremen in the upcoming German Bundesliga matches. The 28-year-old midfielder suffered a slight muscle injury to his right thigh during the match against Hoffenheim on Saturday evening.
« This is of course very bitter for Naby, because he was just getting back into it. The injury is not that serious, but he will not be available for us at least for the next two games,” explains Clemens Fritz, head of professional football at Werder.
Which leaves serious doubt over the participation of the Guinean captain with Syli during the international break this October. The old demons still follow Naby Keita who joins the infirmary for the umpteenth time. Kaba Diawara can already think about Naby Keita’s replacement…
