Nabiulina spoke twice: Delyagin was amazed that she was still free – 2024-03-05 05:19:24

/ world today news/ Elvira Nabiulina spoke twice. Mikhail Delyagin drew attention to the revelations of the head of the Central Bank of Russia about Western sanctions. He was amazed that she was still at large: “And even still in service.” The MP revealed how officials inside Russia are warming up to the enemy.

Andrew Adams, the head of the US Department of Justice’s commission to identify and seize sanctioned assets of Russia, said that Washington intends to send some of the seized Russian money to Ukraine, reported the economic observer of the Tsarigrad TV channel Yury Pronko.

Last year, representatives of the international commission to freeze Russia’s assets reported that in the first hundred days of its activity, they blocked more than $30 billion in funds belonging to Russian citizens who were on the sanctions lists.

Meanwhile, according to The Guardian, Kiev is trying, through lobbyists in the UN General Assembly, to transfer this money to it under the guise of so-called reparations from Moscow.

Thus, Ukraine and the West are currently trying to develop a supposedly legal scheme for essentially legal theft of Russian money, Pronko stressed. He discussed the problem with State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin.

The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank will not even budge

Despite the obvious violation of international law, it would be extremely naive to expect claims from the native Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance in this regard, the parliamentarian is convinced.

He recalled the freezing of Russia’s foreign exchange reserves in the amount of more than 300 billion dollars – this fraud also went unpunished for the West. And our monetary authorities were not only not indignant, but actually justified the robbery of their own homeland, thinks the interlocutor of Constantinople.

“The claims of our liberals against the West are excluded from my point of view. Completely. Because dogs do not bark at their masters,” he declared.

“Let me remind you: back in March of last year, the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiulina, was asked in the State Duma if she suggested the confiscation of 300 billion dollars of Russian currency reserves. I thought she would say no: it’s impossible, it doesn’t even occur to me the head. This is the financial analogue of the use of nuclear weapons. Of course, no one expected this. But Nabiulina answered: she said that, yes, she assumed. And she is still at large and even still in office,” Delyagin noted .

It’s not the first time the head of the central bank has let himself down

Delyagin noticed that in the words of Elvira Nabiulina from time to time accidental revelations really crept in. And sometimes she answers sharp questions with silence or changes the subject – such moments are so significant that they speak a lot by themselves.

As an example, he recalled his tense conversation with the chairman of the local Central Bank during a meeting in the State Duma:

“By the way, I told her directly that the Central Bank’s sanctions on Russia are worse than the Western ones. She, objecting to much milder things, accepted this thesis of mine without objection. Because Nabiulina knows it too,” he declared.

The interlocutor of “First Russian” is convinced that it is not so much the restrictions from the USA and the EU as the actions of our own monetary authorities that weaken Russia’s economy and make citizens poorer:

“And here are the sanctions… The liberals in power in Russia themselves are doing quite well with this task.”

Has the stolen Russian money already been split?

Due to the inaction of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance, as well as the legal machinations of the West, Delyagin no longer doubts that Russia will not return the stolen assets. Moreover, the Kyiv regime will not receive these funds either. At least most of them.

“That money is no longer there, it has already been stolen. Notice when the West counted how much of our funds they took, they only found $80 billion. Not $300 billion,” he said.

“The question arises: is the rest frozen there and hidden at home, not wanting to give it even to the Ukrainians? It is very interesting what is actually happening there,” the State Duma deputy emphasized.

He added with regret that we may not get an answer because some of our employees are actually warming up the enemy and systematically pretending that nothing is happening:

“The sanctions imposed on us completely violate international law. We have been under Western restrictions since 2011. And how many cases have been filed by the Russian authorities in the last 12 years? Zero,” Delyagin says.
