Kuwaiti artist Nabil Shuail celebrated the resounding success of his latest album, “Ya Tibi,” with a special event hosted by Rotana Music Group in Riyadh. The album, released recently, has taken the music world by storm, with it’s tracks dominating charts and trending across various platforms.
The celebratory event, held at a luxurious Riyadh hotel, was a testament to the album’s triumph. Attendees included Salem al-Hindi, CEO of Rotana Music Group, along with a distinguished gathering of poets, composers, prominent media figures from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and Shuail’s close friends and supporters.
The evening commenced with a captivating documentary chronicling Shuail’s illustrious career,from his early beginnings to the release of “Ya Tibi” under the Rotana banner. Shuail and al-Hindi then engaged in a lively Q&A session with the media, sharing insights into the album’s creation.
Shuail revealed the meticulous two-month journey that went into crafting “ya Tibi,” a process that spanned both Riyadh and Al-ula. He highlighted the invaluable collaboration with musician Yasser Bou ali, whose guidance proved instrumental in shaping the album’s sound. Shuail expressed his gratitude to Bou Ali, composer Sahm, and fellow artists Rabeh Saqr and Khaled Abdel Rahman, acknowledging thier significant contributions.
“The title of the album,‘Oh My Tibi,’ fits and describes Nabil Shuail,because he is truly one of the kindest personalities I have ever encountered in my life,and all the artists and those who know him bear witness to my words,” al-Hindi remarked,praising Shuail’s character.
He further emphasized Rotana’s longstanding partnership with Shuail, stating, “We at Rotana are happy with this work and the successes it has achieved since its release. This is not strange for “Bu Shuail,” as he is a great artist and his relationship with us extends to decades,not years. Rotana has been his home for 25 years, during which we presented nearly 20 albums, and the next is more beautiful.”
A beaming Shuail expressed his satisfaction with the album’s innovative sound, stating, “The secret of my happiness with the album is as it is indeed occupied in a way that is new to me, in terms of words and “hunk.” I have introduced new styles that I have never presented before in my songs, such as the Saudi rhythm, as in the song “Ash Jab Lajab.” And this song, and indeed all the songs, I bet on its success and I won the bet.”
He confidently added, “The songs of my new album, when I present them in my upcoming concerts, will have a taste of success.”
