Former lawmaker Na completely canceled the schedule for the Daejeon City Party’s New Year’s greetings scheduled to attend this afternoon. Former lawmaker Na met with reporters on her way out of her home this morning and said, “I have nothing to say,” and she did not answer the door to the presidential office or whether she would run. However, former lawmaker Na distributed ‘fact check’ data surrounding the vice chairman of the Low Birth Rate and Aging Society Committee. It is intended to refute criticism that she has politically exploited office for the sake of a caucus.
The heads of regional organizations belonging to the People’s Power poured crossfire on former lawmakers. Kim Tae-heum, governor of South Chungcheong Province, criticized on Facebook, saying, “Are you a jangdolbanger who shows his face when you buy something?” Hong Joon-pyo, mayor of Daegu, wrote, “It would be very difficult for a couple to break things only out of a desire to succeed rather than in a good way.” It seems to be aimed at the ‘Supreme Court’s theory’ of the former lawmaker’s husband, Kim Jae-ho, chief judge of the Seoul High Court. He also raised suspicion, saying, “I heard that there was a building speculation problem during the verification process last year (ministerial candidate), but it is first to clarify it.”
The approval rating, which had been in first place until last month, also entered a downward trend. On the other hand, Rep. Kim Ki-hyeon, who carries ‘Yunsim’ (尹心), is on the rise. An official from People’s Power said, “I am in a situation where there is no retreat for former lawmakers, so I may declare running for the time being, but may not complete the run.”
Rep. Chul-soo Ahn held the launching ceremony for the ‘170V’ camp at the Central Party building on the same day. ‘170V’ means that we will take half of the 121 seats in the metropolitan area and win by winning 170 seats in the general election next year. Four incumbent lawmakers attended the inauguration ceremony, including Lee Myung-soo, Lee Yong-ho, Ji Seong-ho, and Choi Yeon-sook, in contrast to the previous 40 incumbent lawmakers attending the inauguration ceremony of Rep. Kim.
Rep. Ahn gave a presentation on his vision and prospects and said, “President Seok-Yeol Yoon is an expert in the legal profession with the banner of fairness and justice, and I am a person well versed in science and technology, and this combination is unprecedented in the world.” Rep. Ahn said, “The transition committee announced 110 state affairs tasks, but did any disagreement or controversy arise? There is absolutely nothing,” he criticized the conflict between former lawmaker Na and the president’s office indirectly. He continued, “It is half true to say that this general election will be held in the face of President Yoon, but then isn’t it that the party does not have to play a role? The party has to do plus alpha,” he said, and made a statement to check Rep. Kim, who leaned on’Yoon Shim’.
