After a one-day break yesterday, the N1A national championship resumes today at the Mahamasina Sports Palace. The COSPN team is at the top of the men’s standings. Three other teams, namely GNBC, ASCUT and BCB, are tied with seven points and are in favorable bids to compete in the Final Four. Today’s meeting between Majungais BCB and the Tamatavians of ASCUT promises to be decisive for both teams. The winning team will move on and consolidate their place for the rest of the competition. The police officers who remain will not be defeated by the COSFA soldiers. Among the women, MB2ALL and GNBC have already secured two places. The returning Fandrefiala will also play in her place for the Final Four against MB2ALL today. With three victories, Cyrille Rasoloarijaona’s protégés finished third behind GNBC.
