Nikos Hardalias proceeded to delete Manolis Sfakianakis from the “Attiki Front” faction after what the former head of the Electronic Crime Prosecution said about the femicide, with the victim being Griva outside the Agioi Anargyro police station on Sunday.
Mr. Sfakianakis had stated that the unfortunate 28-year-old was uploading photos on social media in which she appeared happy, something her killer could not stand.
It is recalled that 28-year-old Kyriaki Griva was buried today in an atmosphere of sorrow
Nikos Hardalia’s announcement
“The right to sociability and the free expression of personality are non-negotiable.
Alas, if in the Greece of 2024 we have to think about how and when we will publicly express our joy or sorrow.
Statements and attitudes with a lack of social sensitivity and empathy, which are outside any framework of moral values and institutional order, will always find me opposite. And in no case can they become an alibi for the state’s responsibility to protect human life.
The public position of Mr. Manolis Sfakianakis regarding the murder of the 28-year-old woman in Agios Anargyros is in no way consistent with my ethics, principles and values nor with the way in which all representatives of the Region should operate .
Therefore, with these statements, Mr. Manolis Sfakianakis placed himself outside the “Attiki Front” faction and as of today ceases to be a member of our Regional group.
One more thing!
Let the victims of gender and domestic violence know that we are by their side. No spins, no “yes buts”, no asterisks.
Our commitment to do everything possible so that there will not be another Helen, another Kyriaki, another Georgia, another Erato, another Garifalia…
We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kyriaki Griva.”

What M. Sfakianakis had said
“What I have to say is one. According to my information, the crime was fueled by social networking. The girl was happy, happy, for two months she was having a good time, she was letting it out, the other was crazy, the other was schizophrenic, he was a stalker, so seeing that she is having a good time, it’s a point we didn’t even touch on,” he said Mr. Sfakianakis speaking on a TV show on Star.
He added: “They just sent me a message have you seen her social media? And I answer if he wrote what they say, unfortunately he was expressing what he felt. Peace, but this peace disturbed some. They were all messages to him. The manner of the crime, if the police department had 100 people, they would execute her. End. The police for me should have had 5-10 people inside, but whatever they had for me was inevitable.”
