The Libyan security authorities also launched massive campaigns to find the daughter of a year and a half, “Ayaat Abdel Rahman,” who went missing while she was on a picnic with her parents on one of the beaches of Sirte, in an incident that occupied public opinion.
And the little girl disappeared suddenly since Friday/Saturday night, amid suspicions about her drowning and the hypothesis of her abduction.
According to the ambulance and emergency services, the child has not yet been found, and therefore it is not yet known whether she drowned in the sea, got lost near it, or was kidnapped by unknown persons.

As many Libyans used their private cars to help search for them in the areas adjacent to the sea.
While others rushed to social networking sites and launched campaigns to demand the responsible authorities to intervene urgently to find her.
While rescue teams, fishermen and divers raced to search for her on all beaches, hoping to find her alive.
The story of the missing infant received the attention and sympathy of many, especially with her family, who lost a 5-year-old girl last year due to a scorpion sting.
