The mystery of the white powder found in White HousePresidential palace United States of America (US). That white powder is cocaine, a type of narcotics. But that doesn’t mean the mystery is over. The problem is that the cocaine carrier is still asking questions.
Reported by the BBC, Reuters, Associated Press, AFP and The Hill until Thursday (6/7/2023), the discovery of white powder which turned out to be cocaine occurred on Sunday (2/7) evening local time in the West Wing, the section containing the Oval Office as well as the work area of the president’s staff and aides.
Cocaine was found in a storage facility where staff used to store cell phones. Shortly after the discovery, the White House complex was closed.
The Guardian newspaper said this was not the first time drugs had entered the White House. Rapper Snoop Dogg said he smoked weed in the bathroom in 2013, and country singer Willie Nelson admits he smoked weed on the White House roof during the time of President Jimmy Carter.
This time, however, because the first discovery was somewhat mysterious, the White House responded with a local lockdown. US President Joe Biden himself was not in the White House at the time.
