Zedelgem –
The West Flemish Veldegem, part of Zedelgem, has an attraction and a mystery. An upside-down Christmas tree was placed on the roundabout on the Torhoutsesteenweg in the night from Friday to Saturday. It is not yet clear who placed the tree.

The sawn-off trunk is clearly at the top and although the tree was provided with colorful lights, there are no traditional Christmas baubles in it. Instead, the tree was covered with masks.
Who placed the tree is still a mystery. Just like the “motive”. Is it a protest tree or just a nice wink in these difficult times? It is in any case an ‘eye catcher’.
