Mystery Engulfs Disappearance of 20-Year-Old Brooklyn Graduate – NBC New York

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating a 23-year-old Brooklyn woman who hasn’t been seen in three weeks, and while they haven’t said they suspect foul play in her case, they consider her disappearance concerning, sources say. police quoted Thursday by NBC 4.

Tijae Baker was last seen on Sunday, May 1, leaving her home on Wortman Avenue in the mid-afternoon around 3:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.

A man who claimed to be a good friend of Baker’s mother said in a post that the young woman had just graduated and had gone to Washington, DC, for a visit that day. She disappeared after that, the man said, and she was last seen at the Union Station Bus Terminal in DC.

Baker was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray shorts and a white blouse, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
