Mysterious thief arrested who deceived writers for five years and stole their manuscripts: ‘One letter difference, no dog notices’


The FBI has arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of fraud and identity theft. Filippo Bernardini is said to have come into possession of numerous unpublished books using false e-mail addresses. The award-winning writer Margaret Atwood, among others, fell prey to the man. He also tried to trick Saskia De Coster.
