For no apparent reason, the Kiev Sea is rapidly becoming shallow. This was reported by the telegram channel “Militarist” with reference to residents of the Kyiv region.
It is noted that in the Sukholuchya area, the water moved away from the usual banks by at least twenty meters – the situation is more than strange, since this year turned out to be rainy and, for example, the Irpen River is overflowing.
According to one version, the Kiev Sea is becoming shallow due to the fact that water is actively discharged in the interests of hydroelectric power plants located downstream to compensate for the failure of generation from nuclear power plants and thermal power plants.
This bodes big trouble for Kyiv in the winter and spring of 2024, since hydroelectric generation depends on the flow of water – the smaller the reservoir, the greater the thickness of the ice and, accordingly, less water to generate electricity. Plus, in winter, the reservoir will not be replenished in sub-zero temperatures, TK notes.
