Mysterious Police Presence and Investigation Unfolding at Farm in Innlandet – Stay Updated with the Latest Information

Hamar Arbeiderblad have spoken to the police at the scene, but they do not want to say anything about what is the reason for the large police presence.

The police appeared to be about to finish work at the farm at around 4.45pm.

Several of those working at the scene are dressed in the police’s white protective suits, which are commonly used when working with forensic evidence.

Police attorney and on-call lawyer in the Innlandet police district, Julie Dalsveen, confirms to HA at 5pm on Wednesday that the police are on the scene in connection with an investigation into a case – without elaborating further.

Crime technicians

HA has seen several forensic technicians and investigators at the farm. Throughout the day, they have been interested in several areas:

At first they concentrated on a building outside a field, where they have worked to search for and secure forensic evidence.

HA himself observed that several of the white-clad investigators moved to another building on the farm where they continued their forensic work. When the police saw that HA was observing the session, the police themselves contacted HA’s emissaries.

The police then emphasized that they would not provide any further information at that time.

In total, the newspaper’s emissaries observed between five and ten people working on the farm. At least half of these wore the usual white detective suits.

HA has also been in contact with the operations center at the police in Innlandet, but they have not been able to comment further on the matter.

Uniformed car

At 5.45pm on Wednesday evening, there is no indication that the police have scaled back their efforts at the farm.

Rather, it looks like the investigation is intensifying.

HA could see for himself that another car arrived at the scene. The last car is a uniformed car that has joined the force already on the scene. HA has also seen that the forensic technicians have taken a great interest in several of the vehicles parked at the farm.

HA’s own crime expert, Trond Svendsen, says that he can see from the pictures that there are key people from the crime section at Hamar police station who are on the scene.

– It does not have to indicate that it is a criminal case, but it shows that in any case a criminal approach to the case is taken into account in the current phase, says Svendsen.

– Does not work to the advantage of the police

He goes on to say that there are a striking number of resources in the form of crime technicians on site.

– I’m a little unsure how to interpret it, but it could in any case mean that you are working with investigations over a larger area or in several buildings at the same time. The fact that they are wearing white suits is normal when it comes to trace protection, and my immediate thought is that they proceed carefully so as not to destroy/contaminate any technical traces that may be of importance to the case. I don’t know which ones, but there is everything from tiny strands of hair to potential traces of blood, footprints deposited in snow or other malleable ground and so on.

– If we are talking about an event a certain time ago – let’s say two, three or four weeks – what is the chance of securing good tracks considering the weather that has been cold, snow and now mild?

– Generally speaking, with technical tracks outdoors, time and weather will not work to the police’s advantage. Especially not with regard to biological deposits, but also not, for example, footprints. Remember that they covered the tracks of the murderer outside the police station in Hamar with empty cardboard boxes as soon as he was arrested, so that they would not be lost.
