Meanwhile, the Australian Space Agency has said it is working with other space agencies to identify the object.
On the other hand, aviation expert Geoffrey Thomas has indicated that the object is probably a fuel tank of a space rocket. The rocket from which the object broke off is believed to have been launched into space at some point during the past year.

The European Space Agency believes that the mysterious object washed up in the Indian Ocean fell from an Indian rocket launching a satellite into space.
Australian authorities have conducted a chemical analysis, which concluded that the facility is safe and “there is no current risk to the public.”
The mysterious object will be removed from the beach until its official origin is known.
