SEVENAAR – On Saturday evening around 7.40 pm, the helicopter from the Special Intervention Service (DSI) flew a few circles above Zevenaar.
The landing was then started in the parking lot behind the BurgerKing on the Doesburgseweg. The helicopter remained on the ground with its blades rotating. A woman was picked up from the parking lot and helped into the helicopter under the supervision of 2 DSI officers.
The entire operation took less than 2 minutes but attracted a lot of attention from people who were eating at Burger King. The helicopter flew directly to Schiphol and landed at a company that arranges private flights. It is unclear what the reason for this action is.
