An FBI official, identified only as Carrie, had fallen victim to symptoms associated with Havana Syndrome while she was investigating alleged Russian spying in the US, a joint investigation by CBS News, Der Spiegel and Russia-focused magazine The Insider found Carrie was reportedly “hit by a paralyzing force” while she was at her home in Florida in 2021, doing laundry.
“It felt like I was trapped in a state of disorientation, unable to function,” he said as reported by CBS. “I was completely consumed by the piercing sound that I can only describe as like when you listen to a film and the main character is also consumed by the sound after the bomb goes off.”
“It just went through my ear, went into my left side, felt like it went through a window, went into my left ear. I immediately felt full in my head, and just a sharp headache. And when I realized that I had to get out of the laundry room, I left the room, and went into the next room, and projectile vomited in our bathroom,” she added.
