Hristo was driving on a right-of-way when he was hit by a car driven by an MIA employee

A 56-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in Elhovo. Hristo Karski died a few hours after an accident in which he was hit by a border policewoman. However, the actions of the authorities after his death make his relatives doubt that the case will be covered up and suppressed.

The incident took place on March 29, and the man has not yet been buried. His relatives are demanding a second autopsy to determine the exact cause of his death.

Flagman.bg contacted the sister of the deceased – Neda Karska, to tell more about the case.

“On March 29, shortly after 12:00 noon, an accident occurred in Elhovo. My brother was driving his private car on a right-of-way. At the intersection of “Kamchiya” Street and “Tsaribrodska” Street, a car driven by Polya Ivanova did not stop at a STOP sign, did not even reduce speed, ran into my brother’s car and hit it on the left side – the driver’s seat. As you can see in the photos, there are the damages on Hristo’s car. My brother is a big guy, he’s probably squeezed by the belt or the door. The medical examiner also described that my brother had injuries on his left side. An ambulance team arrived on the scene, but they did not even examine my brother, even though he was injured. There are witnesses who say that he felt sick, there was foam around his mouth. And the most shocking thing is that the woman who hit him asked for alcohol tests three times because he was staggering and slurred. Don’t you think this is normal after an accident? His condition was as a result of the impact,” says Neda Karska.

She also says that the alcohol tests were negative. They only gave him water on the spot, after which the emergency team left, the sister of the deceased also claimed. The man went home, but as he was not feeling well, he asked his neighbor to come and stay with him, he was afraid that his condition would worsen. At 6 a.m. on March 30, the neighbor found him dead – fallen to the ground.

“He called 112, Dr. Nikolaeva from the Emergency Center arrived. Although she knew my brother was involved in an accident, she did not make the connection between his death and the accident. “She didn’t order an autopsy, she didn’t call an investigative team to find out what caused the death,” claims Karska. She is a lawyer and is well versed in all the actions that need to be taken in such situations. At 10:30 a.m. she was already in Elhovo and asked Dr. Nikolaeva what caused the death and why no autopsy was scheduled. He received an answer that this should be declared by the relatives. That’s exactly what the blackened sister does. The Emergency Center replied that the special ambulance was traveling from Yambol.

“I waited for 3 days, she never arrived. Finally, on April 1, I engaged a private ambulance that took my brother to Sliven for an autopsy, according to which his death had nothing to do with the accident. The suffering continued there as well. On the 2nd of April they issued a death certificate – a document with incorrect content as it said that my brother died on the 1st of April (SEE DOCUMENTS BELOW THE TEXT). In my opinion, they are trying to divide the time from the traffic accident to the occurrence of death. I think that the coroner was influenced because the border police officer Polya Ivanova has connections. Her alcohol tests are also negative, but there is no drug test,” Neda Karska also claims.

According to her, many violations were committed by the doctors and she cannot explain why an autopsy was not performed immediately after he was found dead. He could be strangled, poisoned, he still died at home, this is unacceptable, sobs the blackened nurse.

Hristo Karski has not yet been buried. His body is in a cold room in Burgas. His relatives will ask the prosecutor’s office to order a second autopsy and for the expertise to show what caused the death. They insist that this be done in Burgas, so that there is no pressure and influence.
