Fighter jets F-35 belonging to the United States military, experienced a mysterious incident in which the pilot ejected. The jet crashed in rural South Carolina, about 128 kilometers from where the pilot ejected.
Well, a retiree went viral for his testimony about how the jet crashed with a loud noise near his home in South Carolina. At first, he thought the sound came from a meteor falling from space.
Wearing a straw hat in the front yard of his Williamsburg County home, 72-year-old Randolph White said he was in the bathroom shaving when a loud, piercing sound rang out loud in his normally quiet and peaceful area.
White imitated the noise, producing a long scream. “I said what the hell? And I heard an explosion! Then my whole house shook,” he was quoted as saying detikINET from the NY Post.
The retired paper mill local said he didn’t realize the sound was coming from an F-35 jet worth hundreds of millions of dollars that went missing after its pilot ejected in a still-unexplained crash.
“I said well, did those meteorites come from outer space or something?” said White.
“And I said, if it’s an airplane, it needs to be reported because it’s flying too low. I know the altitude is low because my house is quite sturdy, and it was shaking,” he explained.
A day later, he heard a helicopter buzzing. He thought the police activity was because he thought there must be someone robbing the bank or a murderer. “So I walked over there and they told me it was about the plane,” he said.
Currently, the wreckage of the F-35 is being collected by authorities and investigating how such a sophisticated aircraft could have been missing for so long and why the pilot ejected.
