Jokes aside, but the modification of Myrtana’s Chronicles – Archolos for Gothic 2 will indeed receive the news announced on April Fool’s Day. Here is the first “real” trailer of Mod of the Decade Edition.
Are the best jokes the ones that ultimately turn out to be true? This is apparently the opinion of our native creators of Myrtana Chronicles: Archolos – an excellent mod for Gothic II: Night of the Raven. Announced in April Fool’s Day version 2.0 production and hardcore mode are actually being made.
The developers’ joke was that this edition of the mod will be released exclusively on Switch. None of these things – at the moment, the creators have no plans for the Nintendo console. They have a plan for that Kronik Myrtany – Archolos: Mod of the Decade Edition for PC. This is the name of the new version of the mod, which was initially numbered 2.0.
Coming to PC “when it’s ready” (I think you can expect its release later in 2023). The extended edition of the project will introduce, among others:
- new enemies, items, locations, secrets, mini-games, events and character builds;
- the ability to change the appearance of the protagonist (more than a million image combinations have been mentioned);
- DLC Hardcore Mode;
- fixes and improvements.
