MyPertamina registration to buy subsidized fuel is complicated and very detailed…

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Number of consumers subsidized fuel say buy Pertalite and diesel using the MyPertamina application is quite difficult. The MyPertamina application is said to take up a lot of data space in their device storage, so that online registration is considered to need to be simplified.

Similarly, a housewife Aan believes that buying Pertalite and Solar using the MyPertamina application can be a hassle for consumers when buying subsidized fuel.

“For example, if you ride a motorbike, it means you have to open your bag first, then look for the cellphone, look for the application, if there is a quota,” said Aan.

Meanwhile, an online motorcycle taxi driver, Sarif, admits that there are indeed advantages in registering personal data in the application to buy subsidized fuel.

In addition, Sarif also stated that he was not worried about the misuse of personal data because it was believed that the level of security in the application was adequate.

Sarif expressed his hope that when the MyPertamina application was actually implemented, the payment system would run smoothly and would not be damaged frequently.

As is known, starting July 1, 2022 PT Pertamina (Persero) through its subsidiary Pertamina Patra Niaga encourages the public to register their vehicles on the MyPertamina page as a condition to purchase subsidized fuel oil (BBM).

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said the use of this platform was also an effort to prevent potential fraud or cases of misuse of subsidized fuel in the field.
