Supposed to perform in concert on Friday June 30 and Saturday July 1, Mylène Farmer was ultimately unable to deliver a concert to her audience, following a prefectural decision. The context is so tense in France that the authorities did not want to take any risks.

The day after the cancellation of her concerts, the singer confided in a statement to her disappointed fans, in which she expressed her “tremendous sadness”: “I dreamed that we could to like. I was waiting for this moment out of time to share with you this emotion, this unique vertigo that only you are able to provide. Huge sadness. I love you”.

Unfortunately, the ultra tense and violent social context got the better of this moment of celebration and joy. The Seine-Saint-Denis department was particularly agitated, which led local elected officials to request the cancellation of the singer’s concerts.

From now on, the singer and her teams have announced that they are looking for new dates in order to give the public what they could not have. There is no doubt that Mylène Farmer will come to perform at the Stade de France soon, it remains to be seen when.
