Myjava football players drew in Friday’s match of the 28th round of II. league with Komárno 1:1. They did not manage to leapfrog the pursuers in fourth place – five teams are separated by only three points in the incomplete table. The guests are third with an unattainable loss to the second Košice, at the same time, even Myjava cannot overtake them.
Košice beat Slovan Bratislava B 3:0. At the top of the table, they were one point ahead of Tatran Prešov, who have a game to spare. There are still two rounds left before the end of the season and the winner will secure direct promotion to the highest Slovak competition and replace Liptovský Mikuláš. The second best team awaits a playoff with the penultimate team of this year’s Fortuna League.
