Myanmar reports 15 new COVID-19 cases with total cases over 613,000 – Xinhua English.news.cn

YANGON, June 25 (Xinhua) — Myanmar has confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number in the country to 613,553, the health ministry said Saturday.

The ministry also said it tested 5,035 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.30%.

Meanwhile, he said, the country’s COVID-19 death toll remained at 19,434 on Saturday, with no new deaths from the virus being recorded in the past 24 hours.

Finally, four more patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people who have recovered in the country to 592,528 as of Saturday.
