Until Sunday (7/3/2021) in the morning local time, residents said that the army and police moved to several districts in Yangon and opened fire.

The Myanmar army also came looking for a lawyer who worked for the National League for Democracy ( NLD), but they couldn’t find it.
The raid on the lawyer was said by a member of the now disbanded parliament, Sithu Maung, in a post on Facebook.
Reuters could not reach the police for comment. A junta spokesman did not answer phone calls seeking comment.

Arrest
According to the advocacy group Association of Assistance for Political Prisoners (AAPP), more than 1,700 people have been detained under the government. military junta on Saturday.

The demo continues
Myanmar has been plunged into chaos ever since Myanmar military overthrow and detain the leader de facto Aung San Suu Kyi on February 1st.
A few days after that, the people of Myanmar took to the streets to oppose the coup and demanded the release of Suu Kyi and a number of other detained figures.
Near-daily demonstrations and strikes have choked businesses and crippled the government.
Further demonstrations were due to take place on Sunday after local media reported that police fired tear gas bullets and stun grenade aka stun grenades to break up protests in Yangon on Saturday. There were no reports of casualties.
The demonstrators group said protests would be held in Yangon, Mandalay, Monywa and several other places where the United Nations said security forces had killed more than 50 people.
