KOMPAS.TV – The Karen people fled following an air attack by the Myanmar military on their residential areas.
This air strike left a number of residents, including children, injured.
It was also noted that 3,000 Karen people left Myanmar and then fled to Thailand.
Apart from causing injuries to residents, air strikes were also reported to have left a number of residents dead.
More than 20,000 Karen people have now fled their settlements. A number of world aid agencies say that many residents are now hiding in the forest.
