Myanmar military junta is now reportedly seeking international assistance. The military junta is said to be hoping for the help of “friendly” countries to deal with the surge in COVID-19 cases.
The leader of Myanmar’s military junta, Min Aung Hlaing, said it needed a supply of locally produced vaccines and donations to boost the immunization program. Local media also said the military junta would seek financial assistance from ASEAN.
