Myanmar extends foreign embargo to 31 Jan ’20
Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced an extension of the ban on foreign nationals from entering the country until January 31, 2021 from the original expiration date of December 31, 2020.
Myanmar’s measures were taken to block the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar stated that There are 587 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of COVID-19 infected to Myanmar to 123,740.
Additionally, the number of deaths from the COVID-19 virus rose by 27 to 2,664.
