Chinese President Xi Jinping confirmed that his visit is underway for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Opening a new era for relations with the Arab world, emphasizing that the Arab world is an important member of the ranks of developing countries.

He added in an article in Al-Riyadh newspaper that China remains the Gulf Cooperation Council’s largest trading partner and the largest importer of its products, noting that Saudi Arabia has made good progress in economic and social diversification.
He also added that the kingdom has launched major initiatives such as Green Middle East and Green Saudi Arabia, underscoring Beijing’s support for Arab countries’ efforts to preserve their sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
An official reception at the Royal Court
Also, Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Saudi royal court on Thursday.
The Chinese president arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, on an official visit that will last until Friday.

And the Saudi news agency, “SPA”, said the visit comes at the invitation of the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and in order to strengthen the historical relationship and the illustrious strategic partnership that unites the Kingdom of Arabia Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China.

During the visit, a Saudi-Chinese summit will be held, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Chinese President, with the participation of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the visit of the Chinese president, three summits will be held: the Saudi-Chinese, the Gulf-Chinese and the Arab-Chinese one, in the presence of more than 30 leaders of countries and international organizations, reflecting the importance of holding these summits and the regional and international attention they enjoy.
