Gowa –
Woman victim of beating Gowa Satpol PP Amriana spoke up about a statement from the Gowa Regency Government (Pemkab) that said she was not pregnant. Amriana confirmed that she was indeed pregnant and had to be proven through a massage therapist, not a doctor.
“So I can’t go to the doctor (proved I’m pregnant), I can’t,” Amriana said in a video that went viral on social media as seen detik.com, Friday (16/7/2021). Amriana’s attorney, Ashari Setiawan, confirmed the statement and allowed Amriana’s statement to be quoted.
In the viral video, Amriana initially seemed to be talking with a number of people who asked whether or not she was pregnant. Amriana also said that although the pregnancy could not be proven by a doctor, her pregnancy could still be witnessed in a number of posts on her Facebook account. Amriana also talked about her flat stomach.
“I can open all my FB, every month, every month, how is my stomach, how is it. Sometimes it’s big, a little bit deflated, a little big, a little flat,” he said.
Amriana said that so far, she has often checked her pregnancy with masseurs, not doctors.
“No, no, the doctor there, what’s his name. No, I never asked the doctor to hold (examine). That’s what it was called, he was last at the doctor, at the massage therapist, eh,” he said.
Residents who talked with Amriana in the viral video then asked Amriana to confirm where she had actually been treated, whether with a doctor or midwife, or a massage therapist. He also emphasized that he went to a massage therapist because his pregnancy could not be reached by logical acknowledgment.
“No, the problem is this is my own treatment, it can’t be reached with logical thoughts,” concluded Amriana.
Previously reported, Head of Communications Division of Gowa Regency, Arifuddin Zaeni, confirmed that Amriana was not pregnant. But recently he mentioned that the news that Amriana was not pregnant was obtained from a story that developed wildly.
“This is a developing story, it still has to be tested, it still has to be investigated that the victim is not pregnant, medical records can’t be opened here, we all know about it. That’s the domain of doctors, but many stories develop outside. But that’s also the case. must be investigated properly or not,” said Arifuddin during a press conference at the Gowa Regent’s office, Thursday (15/7).
Meanwhile, Gowa Police Chief AKBP Tri Goffaruddin Pulungan said the information on the victim’s pregnancy was still being investigated further. He said the information on the victim’s pregnancy could only be confirmed through a doctor’s statement.
“Indeed, there is information circulating that the person concerned is pregnant. But to make sure we have to wait for the medical side to state the results of the examination whether the person concerned is pregnant or not,” Tri said at a press conference at the Gowa Police, Thursday (15/7).
Amriana and her husband, Ivan, were beaten in their warkop by personnel of the Gowa Satpol PP during the PPKM raid on Wednesday (14/7) night at 20.40 WITA. Ivan emphasized that at that time his warkop had closed due to PPKM.
But Ivan only partially closed his warkop door because he was dia live to do endorse number of products. That’s when suddenly a number of people entered the warkop.
“That’s it, one of the female PPKM (officers) reprimanded my wife because her clothes are sexy, what does PPKM have to do with sexy clothes? It’s a warkop as well as a house. It’s normal for sleeping clothes, so my wife is angry,” said Ivan.
