What was going on before Ewerton’s penalty?

I had a little notice on the bottle about their shooters, as did their goalkeeper on the pad. Their player noticed and threw the bottle at the corner flag. Maybe they wanted to throw off our kickers by running in there.

But the pressure was on the whole game, even on the opponent. Apart from the penalties, we handled the double header well.

There were definitely a lot of factors involved, but I don’t have guys to rate. I’m proud of them and I think the fans can be too. They left everything on the field. Everyone who was here enjoyed the one hundred and twenty minutes.

You played a fair game with Copenhagen, you were even better at times. Do you finish with your head held high?

You can say that, but we are angry. He was not an opponent that could not be played against. We dominated most of the playing time today, which makes it all the more difficult to eliminate them. If we got five, maybe nobody would be so disappointed, but we are like this after penalties.

Do you agree that Copenhagen’s performance was not what everyone expected, because in Ostrava they only defended themselves for the entire ninety minutes?

Yes, they say it wasn’t the Copenhagen of two years ago, but it’s still Copenhagen and the name is huge. Players too, budget. It’s a club that should have passed us on paper, but it didn’t happen, and we’re happy for that.

You didn’t expect to catch more against such a strong opponent?

Of course, he was waiting, but the closer the game got to the end, I thought they were more dangerous and I caught the ball several times. Maybe I was running out of energy.

Can it be said that you need some mental sleep to deal with such stressful situations?

Yeah, sure. We have a very young team with not much cup experience. That goes for me too. I am happy for every game like this and I believe that everyone in the team got a lot out of it.
