What cultural event made you change the way you see the world?

Listen to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, in a monograph by Richard Strauss with Lorin Maazel at the baton. I was 19 years old and he made me feel the true purpose of a musician: to inspire and excite.

What is the sound you wanted to achieve, taking into account that need to create an intimate atmosphere?

I was looking for an atmosphere of magic and mystery, so that the listener could explore and immerse themselves in the most intimate part of their soul. And that’s why we record with Dolby Atmos, in a surround sound experience format.

What does this instrument have that the others don’t?

The guitar seduces you with a unique sound full of colors, it is like the microcosm of an orchestra. Furthermore, it is a natural bridge between popular music and classical music and is the most democratic instrument closest to people’s hearts.

In September he will be touring Italy and Colombia. How is the Spanish classical guitar received outside of our country?

With ovations. Being a Spanish instrument, it belongs to both Spain and the world. It’s universal.

I hardly watch series because I get hooked easily. The last one has been Succession.

Do you care about criticism, does it serve any purpose?

Sometimes I feel identified with her. But, in the end, my purpose as a musician is the public and criticism is the opinion of one of them.

What play has left you glued to your seat?

The Gospel of Saint John, from The Witcher. I was fascinated by his gestural detail and the subtleties in the dramaturgy.

Do you understand, are you excited about contemporary art?

I am excited and fascinated by those who connect with me. The one that comes from the heart of the artist and has a revealing message without having to read the explanation of the work.
