On March 7, the Digital Health Agency announced the listing of two new services on My Health Space. The catalog now includes 20 services in the field of health and well-being.
During the referencing commission of February 3, 2023, the Ministry of Health and Prevention took the decision to reference two new services in the catalog of My Health Space.
A portal and an app to support patients
The Arnault-Tzanck-Mougins patient portal (Sophia Antipolis), created by the private hospital of the same name, is intended to simplify procedures for patients. It offers a patient space accessible online and secure in order to access various digital services (online pre-admission, connected follow-up, agenda, practical information, sharing of medico-administrative documents). Accessible from a mobile phone, computer or tablet, this solution ensures a privileged link with the healthcare teams. It was developed as a white label by Softway.
Tabac Info Service, meanwhile, was initially a telephone line. It is now also an application, developed by Health Insurance and supported by both the Ministry of Health and Prevention and Public Health France. It aims to support its users towards quitting smoking in a personalized way. The site also provides professionals with consultation tools and documents intended for patients to support their advice and help smokers in their process of quitting.
They are added to the 18 services already in the catalog: Appfine (Openxtrem), Compte ameli (Health insurance), FreeStyle LibreLink (Abbott), ID-U Santé (IDTag), Libheros.fr, Mapatho, Mémo Santé Enfant (MSA), My medicines at home (La Poste group), MyGHT Limousin (Exolis), Santé.fr, Vidal Ma santé, Withings Health Mate, Digihosp (Mipih), Doctolib, Medaviz, AP-HP Espace patient, Livi and Malo.
Referencing criteria
To be referenced, the services must meet more than 150 criteria of security, ethics and compliance with computer laws and freedoms defined by decree by the Digital Health Agency (ANS), with in particular quality requirements. content, accessibility to users, transparency on data processing and information on practices in terms of sustainable development and ecological impact.
The committee of experts which analyzes the files is made up of representatives of patients, citizens and health professionals as well as multidisciplinary experts appointed by qualified authorities (CNIL, College of General Medicine, France Assos Santé, ANS, General for Investment, Citizen Committee for Digital Health). The decision to reference the services rests with the ministry according to the opinion delivered by the commission.
Free or paid, the services can come from public or private actors and apply to the fields of health or well-being, as long as they allow citizens to identify quality services, health professionals to advise these on those that best suit them and to better regulate the digital health sector.
New from the beginning of 2023 concerning the services listed in the catalog dedicated to care, diagnosis, prevention or follow-up of pathways: the exchange of data with My Health Space to improve the quality of the service provided to users, who will be free whether or not to use the services and applications.
