The lawyer Enrique Ferreira, legal representative of the lawyer Diego Lansac, spoke this Sunday about the situation of his client and maintained that, apart from some technical reports from a telephone company, they found no other reasons to support the accusation of sextortion.

“Apart from some technical reports provided by a telephone company, we did not find other reasons for the prosecutor to have sustained elements of conviction for said accusations,” said the lawyer.
Likewise, he indicated that Lansac insists that he is innocent and that the word sextortion “does not exist within the Penal Code.”

Lansac was charged with the alleged punishable acts of coercion, serious coercion and injury to the right to communication and image. The Criminal Court of Guarantees ordered house arrest and a real bond of G. 100 million.
The investigation against the lawyer began after a complaint filed by the victim, who stated that the now detainee had created false profiles on social networks to extort money from her.
The victim worked in his law firm and commented that they were very difficult times for her, since she lived in constant anxiety. The woman received threats through Instagram, through a false profile, where she threatened to spread intimate images.
