“My city as a gym”

The restrictions of this period represent a test for everyone and the sacrifice and effort we make to respect them are undeniable.
If there is one thing I have learned from this moment, even if only for survival instinct, it is to try to grasp the positive aspect and to use a little imagination.
It is clear that we cannot replace the cinema with Netflix, the stadium with Sky and reduce a dinner out to a Glovo, but these are hard times and each of us makes a virtue of necessity.
The closed gyms, for example, made me discover a different, beautiful Rome to which I was not used. Training at Villa Ada or at the Stadio dei Marmi, running on the cycle path and crossing the historic center, walking back and forth between the Orange Garden and the Circus Maximus, are things that in the hectic life of before I would never have thought of doing, while now I almost feel I can’t do without it.
I come back enriched by every race, I breathe the history of this city and fill my eyes and lungs with its beauty.
We often tend to hinder them, but it can be an experience to go along with life changes.
Drake would say it’s God’s plan.
