My chemical romance in Stockholm or how to get to two concerts for the price of a ‘lighthouse’

Two concerts for a ticket worth 43 euros? It seemed like an incredible opportunity. Especially because the millennium teen idols – the group “My Chemical Romance” – performed in Stockholm, and the day after them – the gods of the turn of the millennium – “Korn”. Both groups performed at Stockholm’s popular Gröna Lund theme park, which was founded in the late 19th century and is one of Sweden’s most lucrative entertainment venues. But not the story of carousels this time.

Various concerts have been organized in the amusement park since the sixties. For example, in 1967, guitar virtuoso Jimmy Hendrix performed there, and in 1980, Bob Marley’s concert was attended by 32,000 people. However, such crowds can no longer be seen there today, as more than 22,000 people are not allowed to crash on stage due to security regulations.

This year, the listeners of “Gröna Lund” are pampered with a varied program, where every music lover can find something that will attract his or her ears. Concerts by Greta Van Fleet, The Hives and Sarah Larson have already been performed, but concerts by Dua Lipa, Pixies, John Ledend, Tom Jones, Deftones and many other artists are expected in the future.

However, the most interesting fact for music fans could be that the tickets cost about 43 euros. In expensive Sweden, such a price for one concert is even very tempting, but the hook lies in the fact that with this ticket it is possible to attend all the concerts planned for the particular season. Namely, if there is a “Gröna Lund” concert ticket in the box, then it is theoretically possible to attend about 50 concerts for 43 euros.
