Law enforcement sources said a 14-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times by her younger brother at her home in Queens on Saturday night.
The NYPD confirmed that the teen sustained “multiple injuries to his body” around 7 p.m. at 111th Avenue and 156th Street in Jamaica.
She was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
Sources said that the younger brother was arrested at his home.
It is not yet clear how old he is, nor what, if any, charges he will face.
The troubled family moved to the southern borough of Queens a few years ago, a neighbor told The Post.
The neighbor, who did not give her name, said the family kept apart but seemed to get along well.
Of the children, he said: “From time to time you can see them laughing and playing.”
“I think it’s horrible. She was praying for the family. She was saying that I hope everyone is doing well.”
