Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency said that the Islamic Republic’s navy announced today, Sunday, that it had detected and removed a US Navy EP-3E reconnaissance plane after it entered the country’s airspace near the Gulf of Oman.
The agency added that the plane then moved away from Iranian airspace and returned to international air navigation routes.
